I am planning to buy earth auger on immediate basis to plant the border trees and many otehr plants. Can i also use it for coconut.

Stihl earth auger would be the best available. There are also cheaper models available on Amazon which could also do the job.
An 8 to 10 inch bit would be the ideal size for a smaller capacity earth auger while the larger capacity earth augers can run a 12 inch bit but are much heavier.

Buy augurs that are pully driven. These are more stable for usage & breakdown is less.

Earth auger many brands are available the market.
Mainly 63 cc and 71 cc engine fitted with auger.
These are two stroke engine need to add fuel petrol plus oil.
For tree planting it is advised to go for 71 cc to stroke engine with auger size 10or 12inch.
You can dig up to 2feet.
All the locally available brands are on imported from China and it is 1 and the same quality
Depends on the availability you can go for one.
Company brands are expensive at these are also important China product.
