What are the disadvantages of converting agriculture land to a non-agriculture land in AP?

Hi All,

Due to unavoidable legal reasons we need to convert an agriculture land over 50 acres in Andhra to non-agriculture land, But we would like to continue the current farming of Paddy and Vegetables in that land.
So, what are the disadvantages of converting agriculture land to a non-agriculture land interns of farming paddy, availing government free electricity, horticulture subsidies and tax exemption on agriculture income etc.,

NOTE: we are NOT converting this land for real estate purpose.

You will loose your agricultural status and will not be entitled to the Government subsidies for agriculturists.
Basically agricultural subsidies are meant for poor marginalised farmers.
