I am a small farmer and heard about organic farming and thinking to start organic farming at small level with 1 acre land but I am not having much info about this .
Can you guys help me :
Q1. What is the procedures to start organic farming ?
Q2. What is cost involved for 1 acre ?
Q3. Is there any certification required to start with Organic farming ?
Q4. Where is the market place to sale out the produce from Organic farm ?
Q5. Is there any professional services who can help me may be first time and then after experience I can take it further ?
Is Organic farming project is better then Poly/Green house farming ?
It is not Big thing any one can do it without much effort and too in-expensive.
What is cost involved for 1 acre ?
I have already informed you this is inexpensive and hence it called and popularized as Zero Budget Farming.
Is there any certification required to start with Organic farming ?
Certification is Required for Export purpose. For our Bad luck it is
expensive for Certification.The Govt. should make arrangements
for FREE Certification.Taking advanatage of this issue, Private
Certification Agencies are looting a Lot.
But your Farm is only ONE Acre, you can depend on your Local
market and gain the Confidence of your Local Customers.
They will Pay you a Minimum 25% extra on the Chemical Farming outputs. .
Where is the market place to sale out the produce from Organic farm ?
If you are in City you can sell it locally.If you get the Confidence of Local Customers, your
produces will be Sold as Hot Cake.
Is there any professional services who can help me may be first time and then after experience I can take it further ?
