hi guys
i wan to start dairy farming
i wish to get 2 holstein cows and wan to start in my home ,

i will totally buy everything including fodder, khad etc

please help me on initial investment and maintanance investment
and @ how much rate i could sell milk

  • milk is sold @ 40rs for locals in here , whatwill b its cost in some dairy etc ?

  1. there are several discussions and thread already ocovered and live in diary farm,. Pls take time to go though and learn.

  2. Punjab is one of most agri orianted state, people love agri lot and there are best diary cooperative movements and diary farms. Pls visit few diaries personally and get real time experiance.

3)In Punjab like state you can lease out land for fodder and if you really plan and work out you can get good earnings out of diary from Punjab.

  1. Karnal is the place where you get good training also.

Last but not least we need to shred our “Saab” and down to the earth to be an farmer. … (sorry but pls take it in right spirit")
