Summer Heat Moringa

Hi all,

My PKM1 moringa plantation is now over a month old and vary in size from a few inches to about 2 feet. The temperature in my region is nearly at 40C and some of the leaves have dried up and shriveled. Some plants are even dying.

I have mulched around the root are a with straw and water every 2 days. The soil under the mulch is moist even after no irrigation for 2 days.

Is there a solution to this? can some sort of a shade be provided?

Thanks

Maybe the issue is excess watering.

Reduce watering to once in 7 days as you are using mulching.
