Suggestion for tree plantation

Hello,
Hi members
I am prasant from Odisha.Am new to farming.
Recently i purchased 4 acre land in odisha.I must say that i can not invest so much on plantation because i want to buy some more lands next to mine
My motive is to start tree plantation now and wait for 3 to 4 years or may be 5 years then with the farming knowledge and extra amount i can go for green house farming.

I REQUEST YOU ALL TO GIVE ME YOUR VALUABLE SUGGESTION ABOT THE TREE WHICH WILL BE SUITABLE FOR ME.
1 - 4 acres land
2 - adjcent to forest(odisha)
3 - Irrigation can be done

3-5 years?

You can go for Casurina ( I am not sure if it grows in Odisha). Casurina poles are in demand in construction industry.

Other than this rest of the trees gestation period is more than 8 years.

Ya casurina people are growing.i feel it can grow.
but later it wont affect the soil??means if i want to go for horticulture things thn the soil wil be fine no??

I heard about meliadubia.
How about it??

Melia dubia is good but gestation period is 8 yeras onwards.

I have not heard casurina affecting soil. Once you cut trees the roots and uncut stems have to be removed.

As our Brother Said Casuarina Eucalyptus will spoil the Land Drastically . We are suggest you to go for Melia Dubia (Malabar neem). really it is a GOLD HARVEST PLANTATION as considered by Tamilnadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Rs,2700 to 3000/Ton. After 5 Years it may go
up to Rs.6000 + even on worst Conditions.
This Income is per Tree.Now you can calculate
your self the Income you can earn on an
Acre of Land. Moreover it is most
suitable to Absentee Farmers. Actually

You have misunderstood. Casurina is not Eucalyptus

I have not mentioned as you have referred Eucalyptus. I have added Eucalyptus along with Casuarina. I got experience with Casuarina as well as Eucalyptus . I have suggested our Brother not to go for above both the Trees.One can see the following link on Environmentalists oppose eucalyptus plantation on forest land. Sorry if I hurted you or if any inconvenience caused to you.
