The bio gas generator can be used to run pumps or any other equipment. You can search for manufacturers of bio gas gen sets on the internet. One link showing particulars of manufacturers are given below:

Poultry is an additional activity, which can generate good income. Besides, poultry manure has very high percentage of Nitrogen apart from Phosphorus and Potassium.
Cheers,
John
John i really like your feedback! Like you said poultry waste is better in quality than cow dung , how about goat and sheep waste is it better in quality as a manure for soil than cow dung too?
Also john i just read your location is Belgium! Do you own a farm ? if yes what kind of farming you do?
Hi,
I am presently based in Belgium. I plan to move back to India in a couple of years and take up agriculture on a full time basis. To this end, we are developing a farm. It is about 150 kms from Hyderabad. It is a 35 acre farm. We have planted mango, mosambi and chikoo in about 20 acres. The first fruit crop is expected this year. The rest is used for seasonal crops. My brother in law is presently managing the farm. I am providing him financial and moral support. I travel to India at least once a year and chalk up plans for the next year. During my visit, I try to interact with specialists from KVK, Agriculture/Horticulture departments apart from visiting a few farms. On my return, I plan to add a lot of additional allied activities on the farm including dairy, poultry, goat rearing, fishery, polyhouse, etc.
Regarding your question about farm yard manure, poultry manure has the highest level of Nitrogen and it is suggested that it be used along with dairy manure. I have come across exceptional yields of paddy when poultry manure was used at the time of readying the land. I will try to attach a chart showing the composition of NPK and other minerals in different manures:
Nitrogen Phosphorus Potassium Calcium Magnesium Organicmatter Moisturecontent
(N) (P2O5) (K2O) (Ca) (Mg)
FRESH
MANURE % % % % % % %
Cattle 0.5 0.3 0.5 0.3 0.1 16.7 81.3
Sheep 0.9 0.5 0.8 0.2 0.3 30.7 64.8
Poultry 0.9 0.5 0.8 0.4 0.2 30.7 64.8
Horse 0.5 0.3 0.6 0.3 0.12 7.0 68.8
Swine 0.6 0.5 0.4 0.2 0.03 15.5 77.6
DRIED MANURE % % % % % % %
Cattle 2.0 1.5 2.2 2.9 0.7 69.9 7.9
Sheep 1.9 1.4 2.9 3.3 0.8 53.9 11.4
Poultry 4.5 2.7 1.4 2.9 0.6 58.6 9.2
I hope the chart is readable after I post it. We have to keep in mind that the actual concentration of the various minerals in farm yard manure depends on the feed content and other materials mixed in them.
Cheers,
John
Thank you once again john ! I would love to go see your farm when i go to india this time. Also do you have bio gas plant set up at your farm?

Thanks,

Again thank you very much for all the replies and mails, So far i found integrated farming idea presented by john the most! Before i was thinking of solar powered borewells but cost price comes to be pretty high whereas bio gas plant sounds much more beneficial! Any one already doing a nice integrated farming project? Also doing this i can make money through dairy and use bio fertilizers. A lot of people in america are doing poly face farming , any digs on that?
Also my name is Rohit not rahul
Dear Sir
My appreciation for your interest in Agriculture.Well I am Radhakrishnan.T.V a B.Sc.Agriculture professional, presently working as AGM in a Mumbai based company. As you told you are interested in dairy farming. But dairy farming you may need plenty of water than only you may get good profit. But in case of sheep or goat farming it need very minimum quantity and it is profitable one.But after finding out the water source you may go for the suitable project. Also i can arrange financial support for the development project. If you interested you may call or contact via mail.

I am looking forward to meet people who have experience in farming in this area and can help me develop a good profitable project. MY number while i am here is 9216570632 and i am looking forward to hear from all you knowledgeable people.
Good day
Dear
pls very cautious and vigilant in Virudhanagar land deals. do double check and get legal opinion from reputed lawyers of local SBI branch. before spending any money in even in legal openion, get survey number, patta number, village name and put in TN land revenue web site and verify the same . it is free. then if you liked the land then proceed with legal openion. once legal openion clear tehn only make any payment to any one including broker.

we started buying back in 2011 and there is no such problem. Now the government has taken proper steps to ensure the safety of the investors. If you file a case of such a fraud against any person, he will be sent to jail within a weak. Also all the prices for registries and patta number are increased two folds which has decreased the viability of such frauds. Cases of what you are talking about was back in 2006 - 2008 not after that.
What is the present status of your farm? could you pls share experience in land purchase, establishment of diary…ety
we now have started buying at a new site with red soil for plantation purposes. We still do not have access to groundwater which should be after this monsoon ( predicted to be normal this time ). Land purchase went smooth the guy we buy off take care of everything. Establishment of dairy is very viable in the region cuz you can grow maize very well in the black soil.
Also ask questions specifically so i can answer them better… have a nice day.
