What quantities are you planning to store?
Small quantities can be stored in air-tight 20Litres cleaned paint containers. You can havd better ptotection from rats if you store in cleaned oil canisters (50 litres drums) you can ask a welder / fabricator to fix a cover with hinges for easily open / close.
The grains need to be propery dried and stored…
