i am new to farming…
i am want to start 1 acre rubber plantation in my village… i am not sure whether my village climate is suitable for rubber plantation or not…
any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated…

1.Where will you market? Kerala and Coastal Karnataka farmers sell them to co-op society. If you are a lone farmer it is difficult for you to sell.
2. Tapping is a skilled work have to be done 4to 6 am. every day without fail if it is delayed milk get solidified.
3. Rates are going down this making farmers worried a but now a days. Malasia is a big competetion.
4. If the labour dont have skill, he will spoil the bark of the tree, trees have to be replaced.

could you please provide some more information on climatic needs of this crop and what kind of soil is good…
