I recently visited a farm in a nearby town. They have about 60 HF Cross Cows and are planning to increase the number upto 100. They sell their milk in plastic bags like most large dairies do. They earn a very good premium for doing this. When enquired about the legal work, they said its all legal. They said one doesn’t need any licence, permit etc for selling packed milk. Is this true? Moreover they sell raw milk (unpasteurized)
I am impressed with the setup but the problem is that I am worried with the legalities. Can someone please guide?
