I would like to know whether there is any site or book which gives details of the Plants Species (Trees, Shrubs, Herbs, Vines, Creepers, Climbers etc) which can be grown in Tamilnadu State based on the climatic, soil, etc conditions.
I am collecting data now which will be published later on for public use.

Flora of Tamil Nadu vol 1-3 is published by Botanical survey of India Coimbatore during 1981-1987. Around 4000 species of plants are listed there.
Mathew flora of Tamil nadu carnatic is also give a detailed data on Tamil nadu plants. around 2500 species are listed there with diagrams. Rapinat herbarium Father Mathew KM St. josephs college Trichy did it during 1983. Several other publications are there. French institute Pondicherry also contributed some publications.
