I am planning to cultivate Pineapple in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Temperature goes upto 49 degree in Summers and goes down to 0 degree in Winters. Soil is black and ph is 6-7. Water is abundant.
I have been suggested South African Pineapple. Please guide on details about the variety, plantation technique, planting season etc. along with sources.
It needs 15 to 32degree 35Max. a rain fall of 760 to 1000mm is needed. Sorry of for the bitter truth.
Check with Brahmakuaris Hq at Mt.Abu they have grown lot of verities on a hilly terain. You may get good suggestions.
