I have a couple of passion fruit vines climbing on top of a shed. Of late, something has been cutting through the stems of the plants. It starts as a ring around the stem about a foot from the ground, and eventually the stem gets neatly cut into two. Of course, the plant dies soon after this. Can anyone help with ID of the pest, and any suggestions on how to control them?
