Can paddy nursery be covered by paddy straw for the 1st 3 days at the time of sowing the sprouted paddy seedlings.
No. dried paddy straw when gets wet fungus develops and your nursery will be affected.
What you want to protect from? Birds? if so use fish net which is cheapest of all( I am using it)
