Open to contract farming: grow-to-order or buy-back, Jangaon (Telangana)
Hi everyone, I run Ishtam Farms in Jangaon district, about 100 km from Hyderabad. We are open to contract farming, either selling our own crop on a forward contract, or growing a crop to your requirement (variety, quantity, grade and timing agreed up front).
This season:
- About 2 acres of Pepino Plus F1 cucumber (seedless, thin-skinned, trellised, drip and fertigation), planting in the first week of November
- Harvest window: mid-December 2026 to mid-February 2027
- Indicative volume: roughly 30 to 40 tonnes, peaking at 5 to 7 tonnes a week in January (planning estimate, depends on weather)
- Graded, crated, same-day dispatch to Hyderabad
How we can work together:
- Buy-back: fixed weekly volume and a fixed or floor price for the season, with a clear grade and packing spec
- Grow to your requirement: you tell us the crop, specs and schedule, and we plan the area and plantings around it
- Longer term: we are building a 2.5-acre polyhouse (cucumber and coloured capsicum) and have a young avocado orchard (Pinkerton and Lamb Hass), so we would like to work with buyers who value consistent, farm-direct supply
