Land is about 4Acres and 2 acres is full Rocky and Rest can be already used.
I need some expert advice on how to clean rocks like the ones shown. What equipment or methods would be best, and approximately how much budget should I allocate for this project? Your insights would be greatly appreciated! Additionally, I’m curious about what impact these rocks, especially those at the upper layer, might have on farming. Can we remove some soil to improve the land quality, and if so, what would be the best approach?
Also, I’d like to know which crops thrive best here and how to plan trees with shallow roots. Would sandalwood be a suitable option?
Nature do not have the " selective choice " in her dictionary ! Even the weeds are good indicators of soil health . When microorganisms and insects break down weeds, they release essential nutrients into the soil that plants soak up.so just plant anything available seed , suckers, seedling , tubers of known , unknown , wild species …and let the nature decide who survives and flourishes …
Plant deep rooted trees which are beneficial to you.
Plant lots of “Peepal Tree” in the crevices of the rocks and you will get lot of roots in the rocks and the rocks will be slowly divided into multiple smaller pieces.
Also, if you have goats, then Peepal Leaves can be used as fodder.
Flattened the mountain in level (steps like look) and added those rocks as boundaries for each layer so that rain water gets blocked or do not get drained in lower level easily. It was having few Teak wood trees, so we know for sure it is capable of growing teak. We have an option to grow Mango or jackfruit.
Likewise, do a bit of reserch to see what kind of trees are grown around few kms and plant those trees. Or else, I guess Neem, Peepal, Bargad are good options to start with.
If you are planning something like tourist attractions/park/resort then use the rocks to keep as a art piece by painting them or make some sculpure or figures our of them (Just a suggestion).

Being an Absentee Farmer “sandalwood” is not suggested because of the security Reasons…Moreover , a Host is essential along the Sandalwood. Plantation.
I am suggesting you to go for Austrilian Teak Plantation for your Land with out much efforts.
In my earlier Reply I suggested you to go for FRUIT Plantations without removing Roacks. If you Provide me an Oppertunity I will suggest you in a Proper manner after site Visit.
