Need help on starting Organic Farming Near Pandavapura Village

Hi Friends,

We are planning to start organic farming in our Village (Near Pandavapura). We have only identified the farm at this point.

Need your advice on how to start and what are the preparations required at this stage. The land is measuring about 2 acre and need to know which all crops we can start with.

Please explain us about the investment required and whether Organic farming certification is required and when we can apply for the same.

  • Not sure at this point. We’re group of HR professionals from Blr and wanted to start this initiative for the first time in the village.

  • We will have a caretaker.

What is your water source?

  • Borewell has been set up.

what type of soil do you have?

  • Its a mixture of Black and red soil.
