Am a newbie farmer and have a parcel of 1/4 acre in Chennai which is in the midst of a residnetial area. Would like to make use of 3/4th of the land to generate income thro a Polyhouse and precision farming. Does it make sense to do this? If yes, what are the key things that i need to do in terms of looking at Givt subsidy, expertise in precision farming, setting up the poly house etc. ANy thoughts and pointers you have to share will be highly appreciated.
