The land i am currently looking @ has DP atleast a kilometer away. Is anyone aware of what charges would be applicable for the poles / overhead cables to get a new agricultural electricity connection from close to 1 km away ?
Calling up the call center was not fruitful, and visiting the MSEB office is a challenge too.

Got a quote where i was told it would cost approx 15 lakhs (including a transformer) for getting the connection. The transformer will be for your exclusive use for 5 years post which other connections would be given to other users.
This rules out the land immediately.
Hi, i am in a similar situation. Have land in Palghar, near wada, and electricity is till village roughly 500 metres away. How did you finally manage tog et electricity to your land? Did you have to pay bear all the charges for pole, cable, etc?
Did you consider going only solar for now, and what was the process and reliability of this if yes.
