Hi all, I am a software professional, very much interested in agriculture. Was studying of agriculture of few years now and decided to start growing crops for commercial purpose.
I am planning to setup polyhouse in 1-2 acre land that is on lease. Project is just starting. Will have to polyhouse ready in shivamogga (Karnataka) in next 6 months.
I need some guidance on how to grow bell pepper. If anyone growing bell pepper and like to help me on mentoring and handholding would be very appreciated and feel encouraged

Don’t go to lease with poly house. It’s not profitable for beginners. If you have own land then move with poly house cultivation. Otherwise you must go open land lease and get the practical agriculture experience. Otherwise you get loose money and time. Once you got experience then must have done with poly house as lease and Comercial crops. Because marketing of Comercial crops was a big challenge. As I am a exporter I observed many form holders have burnt-out their hands. Anyway I appreciate your interest in Agriculture field.

Do not construct playhouse on leased land …first get a legal business entity / Proprietorship/ LLP/Pvt.Ltd./ FPO /Co-operative / NGO etc. Under your legal business entity you can engage farmers as designated partner to construct playhouse in their land. It will help you claim subsidy under state / central subsidy scheme …visit NHB dot GOV dot IN to read details information’s about playhouse .
