Hi All,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post.

I recently bought 25 guntas land near Dubbaka, Siddipet Dist., Telangana. I am looking for options to better utilize this property so that this can be used as a weekend getaway property.

Soil Type: Red Soil
Water: Soon will have a bore in the property
Fence: Yes
Purpose: Weekend getaway
Current Ideas: Planning to have a low budget farmhouse and grow fruit plantations.

Weekend getaway for self or for renting out as farmstay? The latter is a big commitment and expense as farmstay is all about the experience than the “stay”. The presence and personal touch of the owner matters a lot in the guest experience, specially if the location is remote and guest travel just to stay at the farm. In such situations, the guests would expect a complete package and a room in a plot of land will not get you word of mouth references. This is not for absentee owner unless the land is situated very close proximity to some tourist place and you will get bookings with no effort.
