About the Farm:
Prthu Farm Infratech LLP operates an Organic Certified Farm focused on sustainable farming and modern agricultural practices. Our farm currently cultivates Oil Palm, Mango, Papaya, Fig, and seasonal vegetables, while continuously adopting new technologies and improving farming systems.
We are looking for an experienced Farm Operations Manager who is passionate about agriculture and enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day farm operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day farm operations across all crops.
- Plan and supervise irrigation using a semi-automated irrigation system.
- Conduct regular crop health inspections and recommend timely interventions.
- Plan and supervise spraying, nutrient application, and maintenance activities.
- Lead and manage a team of 3 permanent on-field workers along with daily wage labour.
- Manage inventory of fertilizers, farm inputs, equipment, and tools.
- Maintain records of farm activities and operational expenses.
- Coordinate daily with the founders to review progress, discuss challenges, and plan upcoming work.
- Take ownership of improving farm productivity, efficiency, and operational systems.
Who Should Apply?
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on farm management experience.
- Passion for agriculture and willingness to build a long-term career in farming.
- Experience managing farm labour and day-to-day farm operations.
- Practical knowledge of irrigation, crop management, and farm maintenance.
- Self-driven, responsible, and capable of working independently.
- Comfortable staying full-time on the farm.
- Practical experience is valued more than educational qualifications.
