Thanks Rohit, interesting remedy, I will try.

…spray a dilute solution of groundnut oil on the crop as soon as the symptoms of the disease appear. The disease doesn’t surface after that…

I am also getting a sample of supposed organic viricide vbind from bighaat and will post updates if it works.

To be honest, I am not even completely sure it is papaya leaf curl virus.

I see soil spray is being advocated for a number of pests, diseases and deficiencies by these folks in different whstsapp groups as well.
I will try this too.
