I chanced across this tree on a highway and noticed it had an unusual, large seed pod or rather, a multiple set of pods together. I’ve been unable to identify the tree itself, can someone please help?
This is Sterculia foetida, common name : ba****d poon tree, java olive tree, hazel Sterculia,it is found in south east Asian countries and Australia

I only know back from when we were kids that the seeds were gathered, roasted and eaten.

Its knows as jangli badam in hindi.
Seeds can are edible. I had a chance to eat it.
