The qualities of alcohol is it dissolves nutrients like NPK from biomass or raw plants without changing its form. So in Korean Natural Farming a concoction called FPJ fermented Plant Juice is prepared from all types of weeds and plants. They use mild alcohol and ferment it with molases. This is rich in nutrient.
But the concentration increases it acts as disinfectant, so using it in raw form may kill beneficial micro organisms.
