plz find attached the photos of my gandhakasala paady.
date of sowing : 19/12/2016 , date of transplant : 15/11/2016.
now the plants have reached the knee level and some have started tillering .
Looks great, are you not doing SRI method this time…any reasons for that?
The method employed is suggested by Alangudi Sri Perumal . It is akin to SRI method but the spacing is 45 cm. on all sides. This requires just half a kilo of rice seeds per acre.
As trial I have adopted this method this year but the ladies didn’t heed to my advicee for single crop instead they transplanted two or three plants per hill .
