I am with the Product development team of a leading private sector bank. We are developing funding parameters for Coconut cultivation in Tamil Nadu. Facility type will be Agri cash credit basis revised KCC scheme (rbi.org.in/scripts/BS_Circul … px?Id=7204).
We are currently referring to NABARD figures but feel that they are on very conservative side! (nabard.org/modelbankprojects … oconut.asp)
Request your feedback for quantum of finance per acre basis your experience in the coconut farming. How much is the per acre aggregate cost of cultivation you incur and how much bank finance is required? Any feedback/ suggestions will be appreciated.
