I am planning to plant Deejay Sampurna coconut in Proddutur (kadapa District). Could you please let me know your experience, if anybody planted Deejay Sampurna.
Semi-arid climate → hybrids like Deejay require assured irrigation
Without year-round water + nutrition → yields will not match claims
Best practice = trial plantation first (50–100 plants)
Sir or instead of mono cultivation , go for intercrops ( Ginger , Turmeric , Pigeon pea , Pandan etc. ) All will enhance the main crop and also generate 2nd income from the intercrops )
