I am from USA I am planning to do Melia Dubia tree farm in Arizona, Texas I had searched in google I did not find any things about this plant in USA can you please suggest me
I’ve cultivated Melia Dubia and grown trees for 6years. It can withstand water scarcity if watered during the first one-two years. I did not get good price in India . There is literally no market demand for in India though wood is premium commodity here. Please do research about market and i think lands should not be rocky as its roots go 2-3 meters inside.
Melia azedarach ( Melia dubia / Malabar Neem ) comes under invasive plant species ( severe threat ) as per US Forestry department .

Instead of Melia Dubia (Malabar Neem) I am suggesting you to go for Austrelian Teak or Mahagony(In Telugu Language) Meliaceae family. The scientific name for the mahogany tree is Swietenia mahagoni.
