With the recent power cuts that are being experienced by the farmers, and very minimal power being provided for irrigation purposes, i was looking at opportunities for drip irrigation with solar or wind energy. I have a farm pond from which I want to supply water to the plants with drip. I can do it with a diesel motor in case of no power, but was further looking out for opportunities for alternate energy sources.
Is it achievable and if yes… are there any subsidies in karnataka for the same.?
