How much minimum area is needed to start commercial Miyawaki forest.
Area does not really matter . Just plant seedlings close and try to plant different seeds rather than an uniform seedling . If possible depending on area try to do sprinkle based or rain based irrigation

Thanks for the response. I meant commercial where there is a return on investment.
For commercial …lot depends on location , water resource , climatic conditions and suitable crops .

if you are looking for timber then it will not be possible. you can get firewood and pulpwood

The Intense forestation will not give timber of the Girth You need–But provides a Moisture Bank, Carbon Sequestration, Soil Fertility etc --You can grow Timber Trees Adjacent and as per Normal Norms and not dense like Miyazaki Model
