In you tube there are many videos showing propagation of cuttings of various plants using coca-cola, egg and aloe-vera. how accurate are these? any truth in them? D o we have any authentic thread for propagation of cuttings?
No replies:-( But i went ahead and air-layered Mango.Lemon, and Mulberry and out of these, Mulberry seems to be succesful.
I planted the air layered mulberry directly on ground with the leaves and they have all dried, what did I do wrong? should i have planted it first in a pot or cot off the leaves?? some advice would be useful.
I still have two air layered branches which I shall first plant inj pots after cutting off the leaves. Why no replies??

Well, no one can confirm or refute some of these seemingly fantastic videos, unless we experiment.
The basic (cliched) principle however is if it appears too good to be true, it probably is. Some of the thumbnails definitely show ai at work! 
Nothing wrong to keep these posts, evaluate and then reject them!
