I know a local jaggry making unit in my area is giving pressmud (Rs.400 per ton) to farmers. I am not sure how to use press mud in my banana farm. Could someone share your experience using pressmud in banana farms. I heard repetitive use of pressmud will spoil the healthy nutrients from the soil. Appreciate if someone could share their experience using pressmud in banana field (like how to compost before applying to each banana tree, how much quantity per tree, how often we need to apply the pressmud compost in a year etc.,) would be very helpful.
