I have a around 2 acre farm consists of mostly Arecanut and coconut plantation. Due to labour issues would like to go for drip irrigation. Areca nut plats are 3 years old. I have heard that there is gov. provides 90% subsidy on drip irrigation, I would like to know from my farm friends on my following queries, those who have already done the drip irrigation.
what would be the total approx. cost for the full set up.
what are the procedures to apply for a subsidy.
how long does it take to get the subsidy from the government.
