India has a very favorable climate for growing a tremendous amount of quality vegetables, nearly all the year round. However, due to poor preparation of the crop, at young plant production level, the majority of the crop is heavily infested by virus, bacteria, fungi and insects.
The seeds bought are often of a poor quality or high quality seeds face conventionally poor germination and thus, disease or mortality. Because of this, farmers restrict themselves from investing in high quality, high yield seeds of modern varieties.
Young plant production facilities under the supervision of trained people will produce healthy disease free young plants.
Improvement of yield and quality of vegetables, fruits & flowers produced would result in the supply of good quantity to super markets as well as for export.
