I will be making bore wells in a plot that i will be purchasing. I need proper advice on how to recharge the ground water under the bore well using water harvesting methods.
Will the same principal apply for open wells?

Check some of the videos by Devraj Reddy in YouTube… he is good… he has written 2 books in Kannada and one in Telugu… I have read one of them and reading another. Quite informative. I am also planning to get the borewell recharging done in a couple of months…
