Can I go for seed or should I use sapling? Seed propagation is a skilled job, If you don’t know it better to go for sapling.
From where I will get sapling in Odisha? You can prepare you own sapling.
How to control the disease? It’s is really difficult to grow onions organically, It needs lot of pesticides and insecticides.
What is the best variety to go for? Nasik Red
How long time it will take for harvesting? usually 90 days
What will be the yield? 3-5 ton per acre.

Make bunds of 6ft by 6ft. Spread onion seeds evenly… transplant the saplings after 2 weeks.
