I am looking for guidance related planting trees such as Mahogany, Teak, Coconut and Mango on a land (red and black soil) close to Bidar in North Karnataka. Do the Forest Department and Horticulture Dept provide just the saplings or even offer labor for planting the trees? If not, are there any contractors who work in that area?
Are there any members in this forum who have taken help from the Forest Dept and can vouch for their offerings?
What is the approximate cost of planting services for about 1000 trees?
Saplings will be procured privately or via the Horticulture Dept.
