Need advise new to farming

Hello All,

I m new to this field, I will be starting agriculture post pongal, I have ladn in Dharmapuri dist of Tamilnadu.

I stay away from my farm land and i cannot travel frequently to my place

Need your suggestion to cultivate some crop with less maintenance and irrigation.

I m expecting nominal return on yield with less investment as an experiment.

As Padmanabhan says, you may plant Mango and Tamarind too along with teak, rose wood, sandal, etc.
