Can I grow moringa in palampur, Himachal pradesh… Temp in winters go up to 10 degree in day time and max 39 degree in summers
this is from my experience of 2 years of moringa farming, in your location its not advisable.
Moringa is a tropical and subtropical plant, not suitable for colder location.
best temperature which i have observed is 20 to 40 degree… if the temp goes below 20 or let say 15 then it wont be any good… and then i can also assume that in Palumpur you get good amount of rainfall… again moringa does not bear fruits in case of excess rainfall… my humble advise to you would be not to invest in moringa farming in palampur.
