Dear farmers, we have 2 acres of PKM1 and we have watermelon inter cropped. The PKM 1 is nearing 2 months and Watermelon is about 2-3 weeks old. I have started observing a few watermelon leaves have been infected with leaf miner. Not that the infestation is wide spread right now. we have yellow sticky traps which we will be putting in this week and we have had one round of drenching of neem oil and soap mix.
Apart from a weekly drenching by neem oil and the Yellow sticky traps - is there anything else which i can do on the farm which will prevent the leaf miner from spreading?
