Income from Madhuca longifolia, commonly known as Mahwa or Mahua or Moha?

Hello All;

I have around 25-30 Madhuca longifolia, commonly known as Mahwa or Mahua or Moha trees spread in my farm.

Almost all of them flower and fruit every season and go back to the mother nature or act as the caretakers extra income.

I would really like to know how I can utilize these yields for some income. I am aware its used to make alcohol and other medicinal purpose.

Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Shri,
flowers and fruits are of great medicinal values . Recently I came across a article in a marathi newspaper esakal which mentioned use of fruits as dried figs, oil for soap and other medicinal purpose . I will suggest please check with local dealers in medicinal plant/fruits/dry fruits , which will definitely have demand for it .

Regards,
Prashant
