Generally Coconut and areca are not planted together. since arecanut grows faster then the coconut, its generally avoided planting them together, However, if the coconut plantation is old for example 6-10 years then you can plant acerca nut between them.

Is it because areca nut needs cool environment?
For coconut, how does tissue cultured sapplings score better in terms of being disease free, durability and adoptability, as fast and high yield is assured ?
