Gliricidia planting on the farm border

Hello everybody

I am looking to plant gliricidia on the borders of the mango farm.

Any body supply these plant saplings?

is it something duable and advisable?

The idea of planting them is to create wind break, and to generate green manure, it also prevents rats burrowing below ground.

if you plant in monsoon it germinates without any efforts.

where to get saplings or seed for this plant?

gliricidia can be planted any time of the year and not just in the borders but any where in the field. Propagation is thru cuttings. Don’t spend money. approach any farmer who will definetly give it to you for free. Water it. Don’t give much imp to it.

Hi all. I am really interested to know where I can get saplings in shimoga , sagar. As I want build live fence . Looking at least 500 saplings or any best suggestion to implement will help.me.
