Typically, you can take 12 months for the first crop and for second crop, it will go down to 10 months. If you really want low cost of cultivation and better taste, I would recommend going organic. But it is a lot of hard work. Yield will be lower. But if you want higher production (Cost of production will also be high), go for inorganic. I would suggest you follow best of both.
