I am planning for arecanut plantation in western ghat region (near Koppa). In and around that place mostly ‘thirthahalli’ variety is being used. Has anyone tried or seen the dwarf varieties developed by cpcri, vittla like Hirhalli dwaf or VTLAH-1/2. Given the issue with labors these should be of much help.
