I am in the market to buy a running coconut plantation near Tenkasi in Southern Tamil Nadu. I have the following queries. Based on experiences of practitioners in this forum, I would like to know

  1. What is the average yield per coconut tree per year for an 10 to 15 year old coconut tree
  2. What is the precise water requirement per tree through drip irrigation
  3. How does one identify if a tree is healthy or not healthy, or if it is a poorly yielding tree. What should I look out for in the tree
