We are planning to enter into brackish water shrimp farming (Vannamei) and started on a trial basis in 1 hectare in Odisha and have a plan to extend it to couple of hectares in coming year. I would like to know more about this farming, economics, market price etc.
Which would be the best time to start this?
Where to get the best seed and feed?
What are the new technologies are being implemented? I read about Biofloc/ Copefloc/ Greenhouse very intensive farming etc.
Is anyone implemented such technologies and I would like to visit their farms if they permits.
I searched the forum but found very less details but I believe the Forum has vast expertise and knowledge, so I would be grateful for your helping hand.
