A few members had questions on a new feature that was introduced recently: FarmNest Ads
Here is a quick note on why we have a separate section for Classified Ads now.[ul]
[li]A forum is great for discussions but not for ads.
[/li][li]A separate ads section helps to provide better focus for ads - you can manage your own ads.
[/li][li]Easier to find - members can search ads by a number of parameters (e.g. location) without reading through a large number of forum topics.
[/li][li]You can repeat ads within reasonable limits, without disturbing the forum discussions. Typically, forum users find it difficult when the forum is inundated by repeated ads, but now you can post about those emu chicks every now and then without annoying members discussing soil improvement!
[/li][li]Old ads will automatically get removed after a certain period of time (e.g., general ads - 45 days, farm lands 120 days). Forum discussions remain relevant forever.
[/li][li]Ads are displayed on the site home page and forum home (below recently updated topics) too and provide good visibility.
[/li][li]Of course, ads are free to post too, you just need to spend a few seconds to create a login, preferably the same as your forum user name: Register for Ads[/li][/ul]So go ahead and post buy/sell/job/farm land offers and requests on FarmNest Ads, and all discussion topics on the forum as always. The thumb rule is that any topic that has a limited lifetime and is a commercial request or offer goes under Ads.
